What plug ins do I need to view a panoramic virtual tour?

Panoramas come in two versions. One is QTVR and the other is Java. Here is information on both.

Is one platform better than the other?

Its all a matter of choice. You may use both viewers on your web page if you like.

 

QTVR

QuickTime - a preinstalled plug in on Macintosh computers. It is available also for a PC and is a free download. Free upgrades also if needed for both platforms. QuickTime 7.04 also has an added feature that will allow your clients to download a QTVR and preview offline. This also is an added benefit for your company if you want to send this presentation out via email or on a promotional CD.

 
 

Java

Java is installed on nearly all computers and is also a free download if an upgrade is needed. See information above.

What is included in my Virtual Tour?

 

 

 

There are no hidden fees. Once you purchase your tour package your virtual tours shots are yours to keep royalty free.

Within your Virtual Tour you will be able to:

  • These are for Java views only.
  • QuickTime tours have only the control buttons.
  • Name the room to be viewed and control bottons.
  • We do not host your tours as other companies do which can restrict access and controllability for you or
  • If you do not have a website we will host your site for a monthly fee. We will supply the link to your tour.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We offer two additional options:

 

  • One is adding your logo, name or both on the Java portion of the download (see lower right). This is a one time fee of $25.00 and applies only once - no how many tours you may have and even for different tours in the future (if you use the same logo).
  • Second option is having your company name of the menu bar of your Java tour (see example above). This is also a one time fee of $25.00.

You will receive the photos of your Virtual tour on a CD with all the required scripts - all your webmaster needs to do is cut and paste and change path names to your server. Also, the popup of your virtual tour can be smaller or larger than the examples posted. See examples.

 

Do you offer technical assistance to our web designers for posting tours?
We offer technical assistance to your web designer at no extra cost to you! Customer satisfaction is our goal.

Virtual Tours are at the time are only being offered Alaska . If you are outside any of this area arrangements can be made with the discretion of the photographer. Please email us for more information.

You will need to contact us for an appointment for your Virtual Tour. Appointments need to be made at least one week in advance to prepare for travel and set up time. Rush orders are welcomed for a small fee. Our turn around time average is three to five days.

 

Will my viewers have to wait along time to view the image?

Download time all depends on your clients connection speed. Current DSL connections will take appproximately 15 - 30 seconds for download time. A typical tour will download as fast as two photos on a webpage. Snappy!

Non-profit agencies are waived of all fees. We only ask to use your site or Virtual Tour to add to our portfolio.
